Software development and design company Vincit has been named one of Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators 2020 worldwide.

Software development and design company Vincit has been named one of Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators 2020 worldwide.

“To be recognized among companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft is a true honor,” says Ville Houttu, CEO of Vincit USA, in the Irvine Spectrum.

Houttu moved Vincit USA from Silicon Valley to Irvine in 2016.

“There’s so much tech here,” he says. “And it’s a very attractive place for families. I need my employees to be happy, and I can’t think of a better place than Irvine.”

Vincit’s clients include Yamaha, GE Healthcare and Kellogg’s.

During the pandemic, Vincit offered free services to help businesses – including SixThreeZero bike company and Urban Armor Gear – to transition to e-commerce.

“The only two components you need are happy employees and happy clients,” Houttu says. “Happy employees make clients happy. And happy clients refer you to others. So we’re having fun, but we area growing and profitable business.”

In 2018, Vincit was named one of Orange County’s Top 20 Best Places to Work by the Orange County Business Journal, and Houttu was named Top Entrepreneur of the Year by the Irvine Chamber of Commerce.

In 2019, Vincit was named one of the best places to work in the U.S. by Inc. magazine.
