February 1, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This lively physics show and lecture will entertain children and adults.

1:00pm – Professor Bill Heidbrink and his team will kick off the show demonstrating concepts involving Newton’s laws and momentum. Learn about mass, velocity, and conservation of momentum. Watch cannons explode and rockets launch, then participate in educational hands-on activities.

2:00pm – Which superheroes have superpowers that are possibly real? Professor Michael Dennin will take you through the top superpowers and show how Newton’s Laws and concepts such as momentum play a crucial role in determining what is and what is not possible.
