Earth Day 2022 is April 22, and this year marks the 52nd anniversary of this celebration. Now is the time to preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods — and together, embody this year’s Earth Day theme: Invest in Our Planet.
The City of Irvine is celebrating Earth Day this year with various activities, events, and calls-to-action leading up to the month of April and beyond. - Celebrate Earth Day at Quail Hill: Saturday, April 23, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Visit Quail Hill Community Center and enjoy a guided hike, compost demo, and interactive activities offered by the City of Irvine in partnership with Irvine Ranch Conservancy.
Guided Hikes at 11:30 a.m. & 1 p.m. registration required onsite, limited space
Compost Demo at 12 p.m. - Used Oil Filter Exchange Event: Saturday, April 30, 8 a.m.–2 p.m.
