St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

It’s the luck of the Irish! Celebrate at St. Patrick’s Day with storytime, art, and fun activities. Wear your greenest outfit for our Irish heading home parade at the end of the day.

Purpose Behind the Play: Number concepts, language and communication development, prosocial and helping behaviors, concept development and gross locomotor practice.

  • Smart Art (Art Studio-Times Vary): Shamrock Stamping > The art studio has gone to the leprechauns today as we play with, create, and decorate shamrocks of all shapes and sizes!  
  • Sensational Story Time (11:30 am): How to Trap a Leprechaun –Legend says that if you catch a leprechaun, he will grant you any wish. Join the quest to help four children build and set a trap of their own. After the story, we will work together to build our own leprechaun trap.  
  • Good to Go Activity (3:00 pm): End of the Rainbow Treasure Hunt – Our rainbow has lost its pot of gold! Using your child’s color identification skills go on a treasure hunt through the city to see if you can find the rainbow’s pot of gold!
