Calling all Angels fans

Hop aboard the Angels Express

Angels fans, this summer let the Angels Express whisk you to games and back.

The train runs from Irvine to Angel Stadium in 25 minutes.

“It’s easier to get in and out of the stadium,” said Jose Aguilera, 34, who regularly takes the train with his sons to watch the Angels play. “We don’t have to pay for parking. It’s a good deal.”

Angels Express runs on weeknights when the Angels play at home, starting at 7:07 p.m. Round- trip tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and disabled persons, $4 for children ages 6-18, and free for up to three children ages 5 and under with a fare-paying adult.

“The kids love to ride the train,” Aguilera said. “It makes going to the games more exciting. We can spend more time together. It’s really special.”

The northbound Angels Express leaves the Irvine Station at 4:19 p.m., 5:17 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. The train departs Anaheim 30 minutes after the game.
