6. T.J. Miller
Actor and comedian T.J. Miller will take the stage at the Irvine Improv at Irvine Spectrum Center. Miller is known for starring as Erlich Bachman in the HBO sitcom “Silicon Valley” and Weasel in Marvel’s “Deadpool.” Feb. 14, 15 and 16.
7. Lunar New Year

Grammy-winner Tom Scott will perform with his jazz fusion group L.A. Express. Scott is a saxophonist, composer and arranger who has worked with such diverse artists as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Carole King. Irvine Barclay Theatre, Feb. 27.

14. Meet Kevin Kwan
Kevin Kwan, best known for his debut novel, “Crazy Rich Asians,” will discuss creativity, the cultural impact of his novels, and how diversity in many industries must continue to expand. Irvine Barclay Theatre, Feb. 6.
