Vicente Nebrada’s “Arabesque” is a contemporary ballet rooted in Spanish influences and traces of flamenco. Choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa examines discrimination and stereotypes in “Tiburones,” while “18+1” celebrates Gustavo Ramírez Sansano’s 19 years as a choreographer.

The Los Angeles Times has praised Ballet Hispánico’s work, writing: “It has a small group of powerful dancers from multinational backgrounds, bound together by intense focus and distinctive clarity.”
