The Great Park Gallery is spotlighting the career of animator Chuck Jones, the man behind “Looney Tunes” and “Merrie Melodies.”

The Great Park Gallery is spotlighting the career of animator Chuck Jones, the man behind “Looney Tunes” and “Merrie Melodies.”

Learn how Jones helped bring to life some of the most famous Warner Bros. characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.

Visitors can also participate in art and creativity programs featuring Jones’ world-famous cartoon characters, lectures, and a film series inspired by the artist’s work and legacy.

The “Chuck Jones: Season of Creativity” exhibition lasts through Sept. 12. Events are free. Gallery hours, registration details and more information are available at cityofirvine.org/chuckjones.
