1. Jason Mraz

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist Jason Mraz, known for hit songs such as “I’m Yours,” “Make It Mine” and “Lucky,” will make a stop in Irvine. FivePoint Amphitheatre, 7:30 p.m. July 22, livenation.com.


2. Juried art exhibit

3. Pro soccer match

4. Dancing under the stars

6. Jon Lovitz

Former “Saturday Night Live” star Jon Lovitz, who developed his skills at UC Irvine, will return to Irvine. Lovitz studied drama at UCI from 1975 to 1979 before starring in TV, movies and stand-up comedy performances. Irvine Improv, July 21 and 22, improv.com/irvine.


7. Native Seed Farm

Explore the Irvine Ranch Conservancy’s Native Seed Farm while learning about plants, pollination and pollinators. The tour will focus on the native plants grown at the farm and their pollinators. Registration required. 9-11 a.m. July 20, letsgooutside.org.


8. Summertime cookout

Visit Tanaka Farms for a good old-fashioned cookout.
