Among Irvine’s 268 parks and expansive open space preserves, the Jeffrey Open Space Trail is a special place that almost defies classification.
It’s what happens when nature, careful planning and attention to detail converge to create a beautiful experience.
This experience takes the visitor through meadows, expansive lawns and botanical gardens. Stone tunnels and pedestrian bridges ensure the path is free–flowing as historical markers describe 500 years of local history.
Planned through a series of community workshops, the $30 million public amenity spans 76 acres and is 3.5 miles long.
It has become a popular destination for all things outdoors – running, walking, riding, relaxing and taking photos.
