America’s Largest Urban Open Space Network

The city of Irvine is surrounded by 57,500 acres of open space that offers residents the freedom to walk in a shady canyon or mountain bike on a backcountry trail. The land has been permanently preserved by Irvine Company and is the only land in California to receive both the California State and United States National Natural Landmark designation.
