Visit Bommer Canyon for Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, hike or bike through Bommer Canyon’s meadows and sycamore groves, or climb a peak offering ocean views.


The picturesque canyon is a centerpiece of the city’s open space network that encompasses one-third of Irvine. Dedicated to the city by Irvine Company, Bommer Canyon is home to plants and animals that exist in few other places in the world.


Bommer Canyon is adjacent to the Village of Turtle Rock and connects to Crystal Cove State Park.


Earth Day event: Bommer Canyon will open for self-guided hiking and biking from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 20. For more information, visit: letsgooutside.org/activities
