These high school athletes have selected their colleges

Irvine student-athletes have begun to sign National Letters of Intent and make commitments to colleges. Here are six standout athletes who’ve made their selections.


SHANDON SHARIFI

Northwood High School

Sport: Basketball Position: Guard

College: Cal State Monterey Bay

Stats: 17 points per game (2019), 1st Team All Pacific Coast League (2018, 2019)

Woodbridge High School

Sport: Track & Field and Cross Country

Specialty: Distance runner

College: Cal State Monterey Bay

Stats: First-team All Pacific Coast League honors with a 3-mile time of 18:04.8

ADAM FUJIWARA

Northwood High School

Sport: Football

Position: Defensive back

College: Chapman University, Orange

Stats: Carried a 4.0 GPA while serving as one of Northwood’s top players

JACKSON LOBIANCO

University High School

Position: Shortstop, relief pitcher (also a team captain)
