The Irvine Boys & Girls Club is open once again. A recent $2 million reinvestment added classrooms dedicated to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and a 21st-century woodshop stocked with 3D printers, robotics and interactive floor games.

Other amenities include a teen club with collaborative “huddle rooms” for homework and access to Chromebooks and iPads.

The club, which offers after school programs for students in grades K-12, continued to serve students during the pandemic through a virtual model.

Since reopening, the club has enacted comprehensive protocols for in-person programming.
