The national award by CURE Media Group recognizes oncology nurses whose compassion and expertise improve the lives of their patients.

Finalist Kerry O’Neil works as a nursing manager at City of Hope clinics in Orange County. She says she enjoys being a patient educator, especially to those with a new diagnosis.

Fellow finalist Mary Colasuonno became a registered nurse at City of Hope to pick up her mother’s unfulfilled dream of being a nurse.

City of Hope’s new campus at Barranca and Alton parkways is slated to be completed in 2025.
