Great Park neighbors and visitors may soon have additional options for shopping and dining.

The city plans to transform two historic aircraft hangars into food courts and connect them to a proposed retail center, anchored by a grocery store, at the corner of Bosque and Great Park Boulevard.

The city will work with developer Almquist to plan the details.

The city has also begun a $1 billion construction project at Great Park that would add amenities such as lakes and botanical gardens over the next several years.
