Irvine residents are among the healthiest people in the nation, according to a recent study.
The city earned the No. 10 spot in WalletHub’s “Healthiest Cities in America’’ ranking.
Analysts compared 182 cities, using 41 metrics of good health, ranging from physicians-per-capita to diet to access to public parks. Irvine residents earned high marks for their physical fitness, along with access to high-quality health care and green spaces.
Irvine placed higher in the ranking than other nearby cities, including Los Angeles and Huntington Beach.
Irvine recently earned the No. 5 spot in WalletHub’s “Happiest Cities in America” ranking.
