Second Harvest recently celebrated the reopening of Founders Farm at its new home at Southwinds Farm & Gardens, just down the street from the food bank. Thanks to generous community support, including key partners Bank of America and Harvesters, the farm is already producing fresh produce for families facing food insecurity.
Unlike traditional in-ground planting, Founders Farm uses raised beds equipped with GardenSoxx – sleeve-like containers that help vegetables grow efficiently and sustainably.
