Gram Cafe & Pancakes, known for its jiggly Japanese soufflé pancakes, is set to open next month at Culver Plaza.
Gram’s signature premium soufflé pancakes are thick, airy and melt-in-your-mouth soft – made by whipping egg whites into a meringue and cooking them slowly on low heat for their signature jiggle and cloudlike texture. Food experts have described them as “lighter than a traditional pancake” and “a cross between a pancake and a soufflé.”
Founded in Osaka, Japan, in 2014, the cafe has expanded to more than 60 locations across Asia and Australia, with U.S. outposts in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
