IUSD ranks No. 1 in statewide testing

The Irvine Unified School District continues its tradition of excellence, ranking No. 1 in California in science, mathematics and English language arts/literacy among public school districts with 35,000 or more students.

The Irvine Unified School District continues its tradition of excellence, ranking No. 1 in California in science, mathematics and English language arts/literacy among public school districts with 35,000 or more students.

IUSD outperformed state and OC averages in the latest California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress results, marking the ninth consecutive year the district has ranked among the top in the state and county since 2015. Students in grades 3-8 and 11 took the CAASPP assessments for English and math, while those in grades 5, 8, 11 and 12 took the California Science Test.
