Left Coast Brewing Co. in Irvine earned a gold medal for its Trunk Box American-Style Brown Ale at the Great American Beer Festival. Organized by the Brewers Association, the annual event in Denver is considered the nation’s most prestigious beer competition. The honor adds to the brewery’s collection of more than 23 awards nationwide.
Family-owned and operated, Left Coast Brewing began in San Clemente in 2004 and now produces more than 11,000 barrels annually. Its Irvine location at Sand Canyon Plaza features a tasting room, smokehouse and distillery.
