Uplifting vibes, uplifting energy.
What is it like performing in Southern California?
We love playing in California, but we love playing everywhere. One thing about California, though, is that the weather is nice, so you have a lot of great outdoor venues that you don’t always have in other states.
What inspired your work for children?
My young kids. My own children inspired me.
Many of your songs share themes of love, unity and justice. How do world events influence your songwriting?
I try to get some mental relief through music, writing songs. It gives relief from all the stress in the world.
What keeps you going after decades of performing?
The purpose behind what we are doing – that is what keeps us driving. It is not just about us.
