It turns out Irvine’s average daily temperature of 72.7 degrees and location 10 minutes from the Pacific Ocean is about as good as it gets.

In a study, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture compared every county in the contiguous U.S. based on six natural amenities that people value most: mild winters, sunny winters, temperate summers, low humidity, topographic variation and access to a body of water.

In other words: mountains, beaches and year-round sunshine.

Our amenity scale of 8.74 places Irvine (and Orange County) at the highest score in the USDA’s ranking.

Irvine residents can feel the difference as we enjoy the outdoors nearly 365 days a year at times when much of the country is buried in snow or dripping with humidity.

As the saying goes… location, location, location.
