Famed chocolatier See’s Candies has opened its first year-round shop in Irvine.

Next time you feel the urge for a “Milk Bordeaux” (brown sugar buttercream), a “Scotchmallow” (honey-marshmallow, caramel and dark chocolate) or a Butterscotch Lollypop (most popular flavor), look for See’s signature striped awning in Sand Canyon Plaza. Your free sample awaits.

See’s offers more than 80 varieties of premium chocolates, made in California with natural ingredients and no added preservatives.

“We’ve had a popular holiday shop at Sand Canyon Plaza for many years,” says See’s CEO Pat Egan. “The opportunity for a permanent location became available, so we took it.”

See’s Candies has been putting smiles on American faces for 98 years.

Charles See founded the company in Pasadena in 1921, with help from his widowed mother, Mary See. Many of today’s best–sellers, including Peanut Brittle, Victoria Toffee and Chocolate Walnut Fudge, still use Mary See’s original recipes.

See’s Candies is located in Sand Canyon Plaza, at 6616 Irvine Center Drive.
