Angelina’s authentic holiday tradition

It’s beginning to look a lot like an Italian Christmas!

Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana at Los Olivos Marketplace is decked out for the season and offers a festive, family-oriented, traditional dinner on Christmas Eve.

“Last year we had polar bears in a winter wonderland,” says Sho Fusco, owner of Angelina’s with her husband, Naples-born Filippo. “This year is traditional red and green, with elf dolls climbing up the Christmas tree.” The playlist features remixes of holiday songs sung in Italian.

Pizzas at the striking restaurant are officially blessed by the Italian government.

Private holiday events on the enclosed heated patio offer individualized prix fixe menus. The patio feels both intimate, even with a large group, and open, with views onto the palm tree-lined center. It’s candlelit in the evening; there are retractable shades by day.

Christmas Eve brings one of Angelina’s most transporting meals: four courses, including Chilean sea bass al cartoccio with patty pan squash and pork in triangular carrot ravioli, plus dessert.

Or you can order pizza – it’s transporting, too.
