UCI is one of the nation’s best colleges to pursue a graduate degree, according to recent findings published in U.S. News & World Report. The annual rankings place 11 UCI graduate programs in the top 10 of their respective fields. The doctorate program in Criminology, Law & Society was ranked second in the U.S. The School of Education was ranked seventh among public universities and 15th overall. “These rankings confirm that our campus offers challenging and intellectually rich opportunities for students of all backgrounds to achieve academic and professional excellence,” says Gillian Hayes, vice provost for graduate education and dean of the Graduate Division. Overall, 31 UCI programs landed in the top 25 among public schools in the programs’ areas of specialty.
