A recent study ranked Irvine Valley College the best community college in California.
The WalletHub rankings compared more than 650 U.S. community colleges across 19 key indicators, such as in-state tuition and fees, student-faculty ratios and graduation rates.
Overall, IVC placed within the top 2% of all American community colleges. It scored among the nation’s best in the categories of cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes.
Among California’s 116 community colleges, IVC is No. 1 in student-transfer rates to four-year schools, including Brown, Columbia, Caltech, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCI and USC.
