City of Hope doctor earns national honor

Dr. Percy Lee, of City of Hope in Irvine, has been named a fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology – a distinction awarded each year to a select few of the society’s members who make exceptional contributions to their field.

Dr. Percy Lee, of City of Hope in Irvine, has been named a fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology – a distinction awarded each year to a select few of the society’s members who make exceptional contributions to their field. This year’s fellowship class included 29 physicians and scientists.

Lee, medical director of Orange County & Coastal Region Radiation Oncology at City of Hope, has made groundbreaking discoveries that have led to improved treatments for cancer patients.

He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and completed his residency at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He practices at City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine.
