The eight-shop chain, which first tasted success in L.A., has gone viral thanks to its innovative flavors, including Ube Malted Crunch, Honey Lavender and Japanese Neapolitan (a trio of matcha, hojicha and black sesame ice cream flavors) and Mango Sticky Rice.

The shop also features a rotating menu of seasonal flavors and is best known for its purple cone, made from purple yam.

The unique confections have earned Wanderlust a spot on many “best ice cream in America” lists, according to chef and owner Adrienne Borlongan, who says her aim is to “broaden people’s palates through a cherished and universal medium: ice cream.”
