The much anticipated Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is set to open its doors at Alton Marketplace for a special Evening for Conservation and its official Grand Opening on March 27 at 6 p.m.

This new, 140,000-square-foot haven for outdoor enthusiasts will offer an immersive experience with museum-quality aquariums, local antiques, artifacts and wildlife dioramas and murals. The retailer also will sell ATVs and Tracker boats.

The Irvine location, chosen for its proximity to America’s largest urban open space network, will also focus on community engagement through workshops and events aimed at fostering outdoor skills and conservation. Founded by Johnny Morris, dubbed “The Walt Disney of the Outdoors,” Bass Pro Shops aims to connect people with nature.

The store is located at 71 Technology Drive West, just off I-5, in the Irvine Spectrum District.
