One of Orange County’s most celebrated coffeehouses has opened a new cafe near UC Irvine.
MoonGoat Coffee Roasters recently made UCI Research Park the home of its fourth OC location. Launched in 2018, the Orange County coffee roaster quickly attracted a devoted following thanks to its award-winning coffee, popularity on social media and friendly service.
In 2021, Orange County Register restaurant critic Brad A. Johnson named MoonGoat Coffee Roasters the No. 1 coffee in the county.
The new cafe, at 5171 California Ave., Suite 100, also serves house-made sandwiches, avocado toast, pizza pockets and alternative drinks, including the chagaccino – a vegan mocha made with mushroom extract.
