Popular tea shop and eatery Bopomofo Cafe has opened at Alton Square. Founded in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley by a pair of longtime friends, the cafe blends Chinese and Taiwanese influences with a modern twist. Known for using fresh ingredients, Bopomofo offers a unique selection of tea, coffee and specialty drinks, including its bestselling Ba-La Matcha, made with real guava nectar, taro sweet milk, taro puree and fresh-pressed beet juice. The menu also boasts creative dishes like a honey walnut shrimp burger, Taiwanese chicken sandwich and braised pork belly.
