Irvine has been named California’s best city to live in – and the fifth best in the U.S. – by Niche, a national platform for families to identify communities with great schools.
The 2025 Best Places to Live in America ranking evaluated 230 cities nationwide, using key metrics that included crime rates, public school performance, cost of living, job opportunities and access to local amenities.
Irvine received an overall grade of A+ from Niche, earning especially high marks for its award-winning public schools, family-friendly environment, abundant recreational opportunities and diverse community.
