Irvine’s thriving coffee scene is getting a fresh jolt with the opening of BLK Dot Coffee at Alton Retail Center. The new spot expands the brand’s strong local presence, joining its popular Irvine outposts at Irvine Spectrum Center and The Market Place.
BLK Dot is famous for its signature VTM coffee, crafted using a “phin” – a traditional metal filter that slow-drips the brew one drop at a time over ice and condensed milk. The result is a bold, clean cup that is stronger than espresso and smoother than cold brew, without heavy acidity.
