Baseball coach wins 300th

Beckman High School

Beckman High baseball coach Kevin Lavalle celebrated his 300th career victory with the program. Lavalle has a 300-81-1 record in 15 years as Beckman’s head coach. “I love my job, I love the school and I love the kids and parents and support we get,” Lavalle says. “Of those 300 games, I think I’m probably responsible for two of them. The players play and we coach, and the coaching staff I’ve had all these years is the real reason for the culture we’ve built here at the school. It’s unique.”
